About Us
Study Active is a UK leading provider of health & fitness qualifications including Gym Instructing and Personal Training. Study Active is an Active IQ approved centre with CIMSPA endorsed Training Provider Partner status. We are also a RSPH accredited centre and offer the prestigious RSPH Level 4 Award in Nutrition. All our qualifications are Ofqual regulated.
Study Active prides itself on quality and have been rated “outstanding” by CIMSPA and “highly commended” by UK Active.
With learners all over the UK, Study Active uses an online / blended learning model to deliver qualifications. This makes use of digital learning, bespoke webinars, on demand tutorials and the option of practical sessions allowing ultimate flexibility to study around work commitments.
Study Active was founded in 2012 by nationally renowned fitness educator James Luscombe. James had the vision of fusing innovative educational technology combined with outstanding tutor support and customer service. These values make Study Active what it is today and is why it is the choice of many.

As additional value-add, Study Active provides all of our learners with 20 free Active IQ accredited online CPD courses which contain insightful titles in fitness, nutrition and mental health.
